Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pixel Epic Labs ("Pixel Epic Labs," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with BookYourDetail (the "Service"). We are based in Salinas, California. By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. Related terms of use appear in our Terms of Service.
1. Who This Policy Covers
This Policy covers information we process when you visit our marketing site, create a detailer account, use the dashboard, run a demo, or use a branded booking portal operated on the Service. If you are a detailer's end customer, the detailer may also act as an independent controller of your booking information; we process that data to provide the Service to the detailer.
2. Information We Collect
Account and business information. When you sign up or manage settings, we collect information such as business name, email address, password (stored via our authentication provider), branding preferences, service offerings, pricing, availability, service area, and similar configuration data.
Booking and customer information. The Service may store customer names, emails, phone numbers, vehicle details, addresses, job notes, photos, quotes, invoices, payment amounts, and related records that you or your customers enter.
Payment information. Platform subscription billing and customer job payments are processed by Square (or similar processors). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Processors may provide us tokens, last-four digits, payment status, and transaction identifiers.
Communications. We process content and metadata related to emails and SMS sent through the Service (for example confirmations, reminders, and account messages), including delivery status where available.
Location and maps. If you use service-area or address features, we process location coordinates and address components, including via Google Maps / Places APIs.
Usage and device data. We automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and approximate timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication sessions and core Service functionality.
Demo data. Demo sessions may store temporary preferences in your browser or session; they may not create a permanent account.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
- Create and manage accounts, trials, demos, and subscriptions;
- Enable booking portals, scheduling, messaging, payments, and reporting;
- Communicate with you about the Service, billing, and support;
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues;
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms; and
- Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage to improve product design.
6. Retention
We retain account and booking-related data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. After account closure, we may delete or anonymize data within a reasonable period, unless longer retention is required or permitted by law.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information (including encrypted transport and access controls via our providers). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including rights to know, access, correct, and delete certain personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights. To submit a request, email hello@pixelepiclabs.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. If you are an end customer of a detailer, we may direct you to that detailer or coordinate with them where they control the data.
Categories of personal information we collect are described in Section 2 (identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, geolocation approximations, and business-related content). We use them for the business purposes in Section 3.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. International Users
We are based in the United States. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you understand that information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice when appropriate.
